Biological Activity for Lisuride maleate

Lisuride maleate is a dopamine receptor agonist and anti-Parkinson's agent. Displays high affinity for D₂, D₃ and D₄ receptors along with 5-HT_1A. Exhibits some 5-HT_2B receptor antagonist properties. Decreases prolactin release; reduces inflammatory mediators such as TNF-α and IL6. Exhibits anticonvulsive effects. Acts similar to bromocriptine (Cat. No. 0427).
