Comparing Charge Variants: Innovator vs Biosimilar Using the MauriceFlex System & Mass Spectrometry
Application NotesThis app note compares the charge heterogeneity analysis and characterization of a bispecific antibody and a research-grade biosimilar. You will find out how:
- Charge heterogeneity of the innovator and a research-grade biosimilar of Mosunetuzumab was analyzed with the MauriceFlex system.
- Fractions of 5 charge variants were collected successfully with high purity (≥80%) for both innovator and biosimilar on MauriceFlex system. For each molecule, samples from 5 fractionation runs were pooled and concentrated for subunit mass analysis.
FabRICATOR® digestion of fractions combined with LC-MS analysis highlighted critical differences between the innovator and biosimilar molecules.
