RNAscope LS Multiplex Fluorescent Assay Combined with Immunofluorescence

Analysis of both RNA and protein provides valuable information for understanding the regulation of expression. Both ISH and IHC technologies share common features that make them unique amongst the protein and RNA detection technologies, namely:

•     Morphological context: detection of RNA and protein while conserving the cell and tissue structural integrity
•     Similar workflows from sample fixation, pre-treatment, hybridization, signal amplification and data analysis.

For labs that require high throughput and automated RNA in situ hybridization (ISH) analysis, ACD has partnered with Leica Biosystems and Roche Tissue Diagnostics, Inc to deliver RNAscope™ ISH automated assays. Both automated stainers offering the possibility to combine in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry on the same slide.
