Review Advances in Spatial Biology with the Best of 2022 Publications using RNAscope™ ISH Technology

December 13 2022

Speaker:

Anushka Dikshit, PhD

Manager, Applications Sciences, Spatial Biology Division, Advanced Cell Diagnostics

Outline:

What did we learn from 2022?

Key publications utilizing RNAscope™, BaseScope™ and miRNAscope™ assays in diverse research and application areas.

The RNAscope in situ hybridization (ISH) technology provides a powerful method to detect gene expression within the spatial and morphological tissue context. The proprietary “double Z” probe design in combination with the advanced signal amplification enables highly specific and sensitive detection of the target RNA with each dot visualizing a single RNA transcript. This robust signal-to-noise technology allows for the detection of gene transcripts at the single molecule level with single-cell resolution and can further expand our understanding of gene expression in cell lines and tissues samples.

Join us to review some of the key publications from 2022 utilizing the RNAscope technology for research and therapeutic development in several areas, including, neuroscience, oncology, cell and gene therapy, infectious disease, single cell biology, and more.

Learning Objectives:

  • Overview of the RNAscope technology and product line
  • Key publications from 2022 using RNAscope technology in some established and novel application areas such as Neuroscience, Oncology, Immunology, Infectious disease, Cell and Gene therapy, scRNA-seq validation and more.
