AKAP2: Lysates

AKAP2 (A-kinase anchoring protein 2) was identified in a yeast two-hybrid screen as a protein that interacts with protein kinase A (PKA). AKAP2 functions to direct the subcellular localization of PKA and may also function as a link for cytoskeletal signaling complexes. Structurally, AKAP2 contains two tandem RGS domains, a PKA-binding motif, and a PDZ (PSD95/Dlg/ZO1)-binding motif.
