CAMTA2: Lysates

CAMTA2 is encoded by this gene is a member of the calmodulin-binding transcription activator (CAMTA) protein family. CAMTA family members share a common domain structure that consists of a transcription activation domain, a DNA-binding domain, and a calmodulin-binding domain. CAMTA proteins may function as transcription factors that respond to calcium signaling by directly binding to calmodulin. This protein was shown to possess transcription activation activity in a transcription reporter system in yeast. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified, but their full-length natures have not been determined.
