D Box Binding Protein: Proteins and Enzymes

DBP, also known as D site-binding protein, is a 34.3 kDa 325 amino acid protein which is involved in regulation of genes that control circadian rhythm. Current research is being conducted for diseases and disorders such as schizophrenia, graves' disease, obesity, pulmonary disease, bipolar disorder, temporal lobe epilepsy, and osteoporosis. The protein interacts in circadian clock and expression of DBP pathways with proteins such as HLF, TEF, EP300, SIRT1, and CLOCK.
