Exostosin-like 2/EXTL2: Proteins and Enzymes

Exostosin-like proteins are transmembrane glycosyltransferases found in the endoplasmic reticulum. These proteins are involved in the biosynthesis of heparan sulfate proteoglycans. Mutations of EXTL proteins are associated with the development of multiple exostoses (benign bone growths) and cancer.
