FGF-BP: Lysates

FGF binding protein (FGF-BP) was originally identified as a 17 kDa low-affinity heparin-binding protein in the conditioned medium of human A431 epidermoid carcinoma cells that bind FGF acidic and basic in a non-covalent, reversible manner. Rat FGF-BP cDNA encodes a 238 amino acid residue (aa) precursor protein with a 33 aa signal peptide. All FGF-BPs share ten conserved cysteine residues which form five intracellular disufide bridges.
