HNF-3 beta/FoxA2: Lysates
HNF-3 beta, also known as FoxA2 is a 48-kDa member of the HNF-3/forkhead class of DNA binding proteins. Members of the family are defined by the presence of a conserved stretch of 110 amino acids that includes a DNA-binding site with a winged helix structure. The winged nature of the molecule derives from its 3D butterfly configuration. DNA binding by HNF-3 beta impacts gene expression in pancreatic beta-cells, and drives endoderm development in the embryo.
