Integrin alpha 11: cDNA Clones
Integrin alpha 11 (ITGA11) is one of twelve Integrin family adhesion receptors that associate with the beta 1 subunit. It is expressed by adult fibroblasts and by embryonic mesenchymal cells in areas that incorporate collagen during development. It binds to Collagen types I and II as well as to group A Streptococcal Scl1 protein.
