LMTK2: Proteins and Enzymes

LMTK2 (lemur tyrosine kinase 2), also known as KPI-2 (kinase/phosphatase inhibitor 2), cprk (cdk5-regulated kinase) or Brek (brain-enriched kinase), is a 210 kDa type I transmembrane ser/thr kinase that is a member of the lemur family of kinases with long (lemur-like) C-terminal cytoplasmic tails. It is expressed mainly in the brain and is enriched in perinatal neurons, but is also found in germ cells.
