MIG2: Proteins and Enzymes
MIG-2 (mitogen-inducible gene-2), also known as FERMT2 or Kindlin-2, is an approximately 80 kDa, 680 amino acid, ubiquitously expressed member of the Fermitin/Kindlin family of cytoplasmic adaptor proteins. MIG-2 is essential for beta1 and beta3 integrin activity due to its interactions with regulatory molecules such as talin and ILK.
