MRPS9: Proteins and Enzymes
MRPS9, also known as Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S9, contains a 46 kDa isoform that is 396 amino acids in length, and is involved in mitochondrial protein synthesis. Current research is being conducted on the relationship between MRPS9 and a variety of diseases and disorders, including Parkinson's disease, mycobacterium tuberculosis, pneumonia, and malaria. The protein is associated with translation, the peptide biosynthetic process, and the detection of DNA damage, and has been found to interact with several proteins, such as HAP1, RBM4B, ICT1, CCNDBP1, and MPHOSPH6.
