NAGS is known to have interactions with TMEM39B, ASS1, ADSSL1, SNRPD3, and RPS16. NAGS has been studied in relation to several diseases and disorders including hepatitis, Urea Cycle Disorder, propionic academia, hyperargininemia, Celiac disease and metabolic disorders.
