OXR1: Proteins and Enzymes

Oxidation resistance 1 (OXR1) protein was originally identified in a screen for human genes that function to protect cells from oxidative damage. OXR1 localizes to the mitochondria, and its expression has been shown to be induced by heat and oxidative stress.
