P2X3/P2RX3: Lysates

P2RX3 functions as a ligand-gated ion channel and may transduce ATP-evoked nociceptor activation. Studies suggest that P2RX3 is important for peripheral pain responses. It participates in pathways controlling urinary bladder volume reflexes. Selective antagonists may have therapeutic potential in pain relief and in the treatment of disorders of urine storage.
