Parathyroid hormone 2: Lysates

Parathyroid hormone 2 is a member of the G protein coupled receptor family (Subfamily: Parathyroid hormone) and its activity is mediated by G proteins which activate adenyl cyclase. It may be responsible for PTH effects in a number of physiological systems and may play a significant role in pancreatic function. Its presence in neurons indicates that it may function as a neurotransmitter receptor. ESTs have been isolated from normal testis libraries as well as cancer libraries from bone marrow, brain, germ cell, head/neck, and skin.
