Relaxin R2: Proteins and Enzymes

Relaxin R2 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family. The strongest expression of Relaxin R2 is detected in the endometrial epithelium. Mutations in Relaxin R2 are associated with cryptorchidism. Higher expression of Relaxin R2 may facilitate tumor invasiveness in the early clinical stage of hepatocellular carcinoma. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
