RPL14: Proteins and Enzymes
RPL14, also known as Ribosomal Protein L14, is 215 amino acids long and approximately 23kDa. RPL14 is a cytoplasmic protein that is component of the large 60S subunit of the ribosome. RPL14 contains a bZIP-like domain. Current research surrounding RPL14 has shown possible connections with diseases and disorders such as oral cancer, anemia, Treacher Collins syndrome, squamous cell carcinoma, malaria, pancreatitis, and Congenital myasthenic syndrome. RPL14 interacts with other ribosomal proteins such as RPL11, RPL13, RPL17, RPL26 and RPL 27A.
