RPLP1: Lysates

RPLP1, also known as 60S acidic ribosomal protein P1, is a 12kDa 114 amino acid protein with a shorter 9kDa 89 isoform. The primary function of RPLP1 is to regulate the elongation step during protein synthesis. Current research is being conducted on RPLP1 in relation to the diseases: pandas, rhabdomyosarcoma, mouth disease, breast cancer and malaria. RPLP1 has been linked to the proteolysis, virulence, secretion, cell death and methylation pathways where it interacts with ASCC2, TPT1, NUDT3, NUDT21 and ANKRD13B.
