SLC30A2: Lysates

SLC30A2 is a gene that codes for a protein that is responsible for zinc transport, and has two isoforms with lengths of 323 and 372 amino acids and weights of approximately 35 and 41 kDa respectively. Current research is being done on several diseases and disorders linked to this gene including enteropathica, acrodermatitis, prostate cancer, prostatitis, and malaria. SLC30A2 has also been shown to have interactions with CREB3 in pathways such as the transport of glucose and other sugars, bile slats and organic acids, metal ions, and amine compounds pathways.
