Scientific Data Images for beta Tubulin Antibody [DyLight 488]

beta Tubulin Antibody [DyLight 488]

Beta Tubulin in U-2 OS Human Cell Line.

Beta Tubulin was detected in immersion fixed U-2 OS human osteosarcoma cell line using Rabbit anti-beta Tubulin Affinity Purified Polyclonal Antibody conjugated to DyLight 488 (Catalog # NB600-936G) (green) at 5 µg/mL overnight at 4C. Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue). Cells were imaged using a 100X objective and digitally deconvolved.

Background: beta Tubulin

Tubulin is the major building block of microtubules. This intracellular cylindrical filamentous structure is present in almost all eukaryotic cells. Microtubules function as structural and mobile elements in mitosis, intracellular transport, flagellar movement, and in the cytoskeleton. Antibodies against beta Tubulin are useful as loading controls for Western Blotting.
