Proliferation Induced by Erythropoietin and Neutralization by Human Erythropoietin R Antibody.

Proliferation Induced by Erythropoietin and Neutralization by Human Erythropoietin R Antibody.

Recombinant Human Erythropoietin (Tissue Culture Grade) (Catalog # 287-TC) induces proliferation in the TF-1 human erythroleukemic cell line in a dose-dependent manner (orange line), as measured by Resazurin (Catalog # AR002). Proliferation elicited by Recombinant Human Erythropoietin (Tissue Culture Grade) (0.278 units/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Mouse Anti-Human Erythropoietin R Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3073). The ND50 is typically 0.4-2.4 µg/mL.

Applications for Human Erythropoietin R MAb (Clone 713210)

Application
Recommended Usage

Neutralization

Measured by its ability to neutralize Erythropoietin-induced proliferation in the TF‑1 human erythroleukemic cell line. The Neutralization Dose (ND50) is typically 0.4-2.4 µg/mL in the presence of 0.278 units/mL Recombinant Human Erythropoietin (Tissue Culture Grade).
Please Note: Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.

Background: Erythropoietin R

Epo R is a transmembrane protein expressed on the surface of megakaryocytes, erythroid progenitors, and endothelial cells. It binds Epo and transmits signals that stimulate the proliferation and maturation of bone marrow erythroid precursors into red cells.
