Human Melanotransferrin/CD228 Antibody

Detection of Human Melanotransferrin/CD228 by Western Blot.

Western blot shows lysates of SK-Mel-28 human malignant melanoma cell line and Hs 294T human melanoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human Melanotransferrin/CD228 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB8175) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for Melanotransferrin/CD228 at approximately 90-95 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

Melanotransferrin/CD228 in Human Melanoma Tissue.

Melanotransferrin/CD228 was detected in perfusion fixed frozen sections of human melanoma tissue using Mouse Anti-Human Melanotransferrin/CD228 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB8175) at 5 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Mouse IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC001). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to plasma membrane and cytoplasm. Detection of Human Melanotransferrin/CD228 by Simple Western^TM.

Simple Western lane view shows lysates of SK‑Mel‑28 human malignant melanoma cell line, loaded at 0.5 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for Melanotransferrin/CD228 at approximately 109 kDa (as indicated) using 10 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human Melanotransferrin/CD228 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB8175) . This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.
