Detection of Human PKC theta by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human/Mouse PKC theta Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4368) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for PKC theta at approximately 82 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

A specific band was detected for PKC theta at approximately 82 kDa (as indicated) using 50 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Human/Mouse PKC theta Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4368) followed by 1:50 dilution of HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). Background: PKC theta
PKC theta (PRKCQ) is a calcium-independent phospholipid-dependent serine and threonine kinase that belongs to the novel PKC subfamily. PKC theta plays a critical role in several aspects of T cell biology. PKC theta knock out mice develop autoimmune disease. PKC theta functions through the activation of NFkB and AP1 transcription factors.
