Human Myocilin Antibody

Detection of Myocilin in HEK293 cells by Flow Cytometry.

HEK293 cells transfected with Human MYOC (filled histogram) vs Irrelevant transfectant cells (open histogram) were stained with Mouse Anti-Human Myocilin Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB34461), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Detection of Myocilin in Human Skeletal Muscle.

Myocilin was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of Human Skeletal Muscle using Mouse Anti-Human Myocilin Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB34461) at 15 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Mouse IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC001). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using VisUCyte Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # VCTS021). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to sarcoplasm in cardiomyocytes.
