Detection of TRAIL/TNFSF10 antibody in Human PBMCs antibody by Flow Cytometry.

Detection of TRAIL/TNFSF10 in Human PBMCs by Flow Cytometry.

Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) treated with 150 ng/mL IFN-a for 48 hours were stained with Mouse Anti-Human TRAIL/TNFSF10 Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB687G) and Mouse Anti-Human CD14 APC-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB3832A). Quadrant markers were set based on control antibody staining (Catalog # IC002G). View our protocol for Staining Membrane-associated Proteins.

Background: TRAIL/TNFSF10

TRAIL is a type II transmembrane protein belonging to the TNF superfamily and is now designated TNFSF10. TRAIL is active as a homotrimer and is produced by a variety of cell types in both the membrane bound form and also as a soluble molecule. It binds to any of the four TRAIL receptors as well as to Osteoprotegerin.
