Scientific Data Images for NF-L Antibody (7D1)
Western Blot: NF-L Antibody (7D1) [NBP2-50612]
Western Blot: NF-L Antibody [NBP2-50612] - Western blot analysis of different tissue lysates using NBP2-50612 to NF-L, MCA-7D1, in green: [1] protein standard (red), [2] rat brain, [3] rat spinal cord, [4] mouse brain, and [5] mouse spinal cord. The strong band at 68kDa corresponds to the NF-L protein.Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: NF-L Antibody (7D1) [NBP2-50612]
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: NF-L Antibody [NBP2-50612] - Immunofluorescent analysis of a section of mouse cerebellum stained with NBP2-50612 in green, and co-stained with a chicken polyclonal antibody to FOX2 in red. The blue is DAPI staining of nuclear DNA. Following transcardial perfusion of mouse with 4% paraformaldehyde, brain was post fixed for 24 hours, cut to 45uM, and free-floating sections were stained with above antibodies. NF-L antibody labels dendrites and axons of neuronal cells predominantly axons in white matter and basket cell axons associated with Purkinje cells. The FOX2 antibody reveals protein expressed in a subset of neurons, including the Purkinje cells.Applications for NF-L Antibody (7D1)
Application
Recommended Usage
Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence
1:100 - 1:500
Immunohistochemistry
1:100-1:500
Western Blot
1:5000 - 1:10000
Application Notes
For IHC application, the formalin fixation of the histological sections should be mild in order to achieve a better immunostaining. The observed molecular weight of the protein may vary from the listed predicted molecular weight due to post translational modifications, post translation cleavages, relative charges, and other experimental factors.
Please Note: Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.
