Background: NIK/MAP3K14

MAP3K14 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 14) kinase binds to TRAF2 and stimulates NF-kappaB activity. MAP3K14 is regulated by MAP3K7, RIPK1, TRAF2, TRAF6 and TRAF3. MAP3K14 has been studied in relation to salivary gland cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, t-cell leukemia, ectodermal dysplasia, melanoma and several other diseases and disorders.
