ASGR1/ASGPR1: Small Molecules and Peptides

ASGPR1 type II transmembrane glycoprotein belongs to the C-type lectin family. ASGPR1 is expressed on hepatocytes and associates non-covalently with ASGPR2 to form an oligomeric receptor complex. ASGPR1/ASGPR2 complexes mediate the internalization of circulating asialoglycoproteins.
