C-myc promoter-binding protein: Proteins and Enzymes
DENND4A, also known as C-myc promoter-binding protein, consists of a 209.2 kDa and a 213.7 kDa isoform and is utilized in promoting the conversion of Rab proteins from their inactive GDP-bound form into their active GTP-bound form. This protein is currently being studied for involvement in prostatitis. In transcription pathways, the protein interacts with YWHAQ, YWHAZ, CEBPE, YWHAB, and YWHAG.
