Caspase-14: ELISA Kits
Caspase-14 is a cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinase that is cleaved into p19 and p10 subunits which dimerize to form the active enzyme. Caspase-14 is expressed within hair follicles and sebaceous glands in the epidermis, and it functions in terminal keratinocyte differentiation and cornification. Caspase-14 expression may also protect against psoriasis and epidermal UVB photodamage.
