DCC: cDNA Clones

DCC (Deleted in Colorectal Cancer) is a transmembrane receptor for Netrin-1 and is important for dopaminergic neuronal precursor migration, axon guidance, and axon arborization. Binding of DCC by Draxin results in the inhibition of neurite outgrowth. DCC functions as a tumor suppressor and as a dependence receptor that induces apoptosis in the absence of Netrin-1 binding.
