DRAK2: Proteins and Enzymes
DRAK2 (death-associated protein related kinase-2), also called STK17B (Ser/Thr kinase 17B) is a 45 kDa member of the DAPK (death-associated protein kinase) family. It is expressed mainly in lymphoid organs by mature T cells and B cells and negatively regulates TCR signaling. Ultraviolet light causes phosphorylation on Ser350 and translocation to the nucleus to stimulate apoptosis.
