FCRLA: cDNA Clones

FCRLA is an intracellular protein that is specifically expressed in B lineage cells and is upregulated during the course of B cell differentiation. It is thought to function as a molecular chaperone in the endoplasmic reticulum during antibody maturation and may be involved in regulating antibody assembly. FCRLA is also expressed in most B cell lymphomas and has been used as a target antigen for anti-lymphoma immunotherapy.
