FGF-9: cDNA Clones

FGF-9 (Fibroblast Growth Factor-9), also known as HBGF-9 and GAF, is a heparin-binding protein that regulates cell proliferation, differentiation, and function through interactions with FGF R3 (IIIb) and possibly FGF R3 (IIIc). Its function is important during the development of the skeleton, cerebellum, lungs, heart, vasculature, digestive tract, and testes. Alteration in FGF-9 expression or function are associated with multiple syntoses syndrome (SYNS) and tumor progression.
