GAK: Lysates

Cyclin G-associated kinase (GAK), also known as Auxilin 2, is an approximately 140 kDa widely expressed protein that associates with CDK5. GAK promotes microtubule growth during mitotic spindle assembly and is required for centrosome maturation, chromosome congression, and mitotic progression. It also regulates the assembly and intracellular trafficking of clathrin-coated vesicles. GAK contains a Ser/Thr protein kinase domain (aa 40-314), a phosphatase tensin/auxilin domain (aa 399-566), a PTEN C2 domain (aa 570-708), and a J domain (aa 1247-1311).
