Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) EC:1.1.1.42 is one of three isocitrate dehydrogenase isoforms found in humans. If mutated, IDH1 catalyzes α-KG to D-2-hydroxyglutarate (D2HG). It has als been linked to tumorigenesis in certain types of cancers.
