NFATC1: Lysates
NFATC1 (Nuclear factor of activated T cells c1), also called NFAT2a, is a 120 kDa, 943 amino acid member of the NFAT family of transcription factors. NFATC1 is found in T cells and mast cells, and regulates cytokine transcription. NFATC1 is normally cytoplasmic and phosphorylated at Ser172 within a transactivation domain. Upon a rise in intracellular Ca+2, dephosphorylation occurs via calcineurin, and NFATC1 enters the nucleus. Multiple isoforms exist.
