TEM8/ANTXR1: Lysates
Tumor endothelial marker 8 (TEM8) is one of eight unrelated TEM gene products that are associated with tumor angiogenesis. TEM8 and CMG2 (Capillary Morphogenesis Gene 2) are considered members of an anthrax toxin receptor family. Both are type I transmembrane proteins with an extracellular von Willebrand factor type A domain. TEM8 is highly expressed in tumor vasculature and may serve as an adhesion molecule during capillary tubulogenesis.
