Flow Cytometry: CHD4 Antibody (CHD4 3F2/4) [PE] [NBP2-50163PE] - An intracellular stain was performed on HeLa cells with CHD4 Antibody (CHD4 3F2/4) NBP2-50163PE (blue) and a matched isotype control (orange). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeabilized with 0.1% saponin. Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 5 ug/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature. Both antibodies were conjugated to Phycoerythrin.

Background: CHD4

CHD4/Mi2beta is a helicase component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex that functions to remodel chromatin and repress transcription. Outside of the NuRD complex, CHD4/Mi2beta can function as an activator of transcription in association with p300 histone acetyltransferase. Alternate names for CHD4/Mi2beta include chromodomain-helicase-DNA-binding protein 4, CHD-4, ATP-dependent helicase CHD4, Mi-2 autoantigen 218 kDa protein, Mi2-beta, Mi-2b, and DKFZp686E06161.
