Detection 5-HT4 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human 5-HT4 and eGFP by Flow Cytometry
HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with human 5-HT4 and eGFP was stained with (A) Mouse Anti-Human 5-HT4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6545) or (B) Mouse IgG2B isotype control antibody (IC0041) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (F0101B). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-associated Proteins protocol.5-HT4 in Human Brain.
5-HT4 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human brain (cortex) using Mouse Anti-Human 5-HT4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6545) at 15 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Mouse IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC001). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # CTS013). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to neuronal cell bodies and processes.
