LPAR5/LPA₅/GPR92 was detected in immersion fixed HT-29 human colon adenocarcinoma cell line treated with sodium butyrate (positive stain) and untreated (negative stain) using Mouse Anti-Human LPAR5/LPA₅/GPR92 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10297) at 8 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. LPAR5/LPA₅/GPR92 in Human Colon.

LPAR5/LPA₅/GPR92 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human colon using Mouse Anti-Human LPAR5/LPA₅/GPR92 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10297) at 5 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Mouse IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC001). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # CTS013). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm in Goblet cells. Background: LPAR5/LPA5/GPR92

GPR92 is a receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA). It belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. LPL receptors are integral membrane proteins that are important for lipid signaling. Functions of LPL receptors include inhibition of adenylyl cyclase and release of calcium from the endoplasmic reticulum. Secondary effects also include preventing apoptosis and increasing cell proliferation.
